Upon arrival; the night hotel clerk was very sarcastic when I asked if there was an elevator. I merely asked was he being honest; he was very sarcastic in his response and went on to state that it would have cost $300,000 to put an elevator in. Prior to checkout, we were running a little behind. An executive housekeeper called and stated that we needed to get out, these were her exact words. I contacted her back and explained the situation, providing feedback that she had demonstrated unprofessionally. She went on to state if I would have done this and would not take ownership for her behavior. She also stated she was the manager, which was later determined she was not. Items were left in the room which we identified within 30 minutes of check out. They stated the room had been cleaned and we would have to wait until 9 am, the following day, to see if they had been placed in lost and found. Upon follow up, it was communicated the items were not found; when in fact, we know they were there and have pictures to prove it. I was able to contact with the hotel manager today; he was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He is researching every possible venue to compensate for my experience and also locate my items that were left in the room. The items are valued at over $200.00 and I stressed this to him. Great hotel with great breakfast.

Very quiet hotel with a good breakfast.

Fabulous place, great price.

The staff, The breakfast, the room, the location, we felt safe there and the view. The receptionist upon check out was very kind.

The hotel is really clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a cooked breakfast each morning and he food is usually attractive. The front desk staff is very lackadaisical about things that are important, like getting a fax or FedEx to you in a timely manner. ...read more
